How to avoid Epson R320 printer Waste Ink Pad overflow?
You completely use these skills to sop the Epson R320 printer from meeting the problem called Waste Ink Counter Overflow after implementing resetting process. Each Epson printer is designed to have different Waste Ink Pad’s position so let’s read this text carefully to know more.
Let’s see some information we give you here to know more. The waste ink normally flows from the waste ink tube to the Waste Ink Pad then the sponge in this having the fucntion of collecting the waste ink from the Epson R320 printer. However, when the sponge such a lot of waste ink after a long usage period, it is not able to absorb anymore.
I think that replacing the Epson R320 printer’s Waste ink Pad or using something to suck all the waste ink are two methods you bring up first but we have an alternative solution for you that is using waste ink bottle that can contain the waste ink during the printing procedure. Set your mind at rest because your Epson R320 printer will not overflow the ink, everything you need is bringing the bottle to pour then clean it.
Shall you follow these steps to extra waste ink pad:
Step 1: Checking and open the cover of waste ink pad:
Turn the Epson R320 printer then you can see the small cover as the picture below, this is the waste ink pad’s cover.
Open it and you can see the waste ink’s wire pine and the waste ink’s sponge in the picture below.
When you see the waste ink pad of the Epson R320 you need to disassemble the shell but the cover is smaller than the waste ink pad so you need to be careful when do this, I think the best thing is the fixer’s help.
You can follow and apply our method that doesn’t need to remove any thing, let’s see in the second step:
Step 2: How to separate the tube from the Epson R320 printer’s Waste Ink Pad.
You can see the Waste Ink Pad of the Epson printer and the tube, you had better use the tool to separate the tube afrom the waste ink pad. Please clean it carefully to avoid the broken-down.
Be gentle and careful to avoid folding or cracking waste ink pipes of Epson R320 printer.
Step 3: Tidy the waste ink tube and absorb the waste ink out of the Waste Ink counter, you can use a cylinder to suck the waste ink that is the remnant in the tube of the Epson printer.
You need to absorb the waste ink from the sponge in the Waste Ink Pad, if your Epson R320 printer is new you can skip this step but if it’s old one, you need to clean the Waste Ink Pad to avoid overflowing waste ink when you move the printer. The waste ink can flow to othe oponents and make them dirty or broken down.
By this way, don’t worry about the waste ink overflowing when you don’t use the bottle to contain the waste ink. However, you must to check and suck the waste ink regularly so I think you should use a bottle to collect the waste ink.
Step 4: Install the bottle out of the printer
You need to prepare the following:
– A bottle made from plastic or glass.
– A relative tube is as equal as the tube of the printer.
– The tube connection tool.
Let’s put the tube into the tube of the Epson R320 printer then plug the other into the bottle we have mentioned, don’t forget to put the bottle is lower than the Epson R320 printer to sure that the waste ink can flow easily as the picture below.
Now you can try printing some files and check the waste ink flow into the bottle or not.
When the bottle is full of waste ink you can bring it to pour then clean to use again
Watchout: This is an good solution and you can use it in a long-term but you should use a tool called WIC RESET TOOL to reset Epson R320 printer’s Waste ink counter when it overflow. You can see to install this software in our other post.
