How to avoid Epson C83 printer Waste Ink Pad overflow?
You are using Epson C83 printer and have the problem with the waste ink counter overflow. After you reset, the waste ink still overflows so this post is the hack for you in this case. The Epson C83 Printer is not the same other so you can find the waste ink pad laid in different location.
Let’s see some information we give you here to know more. The waste ink normally flows from the waste ink tube to the Waste Ink Pad then the sponge in this having the fucntion of collecting the waste ink from the Epson C83 printer. However, when the sponge such a lot of waste ink after a long usage period, it is not able to absorb anymore.
I think that replacing the Epson C83 printer’s Waste ink Pad or using something to suck all the waste ink are two methods you bring up first but we have an alternative solution for you that is using waste ink bottle that can contain the waste ink during the printing procedure. Set your mind at rest because your Epson C83 printer will not overflow the ink, everything you need is bringing the bottle to pour then clean it.
Please follow these steps to allow the waste ink flow into the alternative bottle:
Step1: Checking and opening the cover of the Waste Ink pad:
Let’s turn the Epson C83 printer then find the cover of the waste ink pad. It is small cover od the printer.
Open it and you can see the waste ink’s wire pine and the waste ink’s sponge in the picture below.
Then you can realize that the Epson C83 printer’s waste ink pad is larger than the gate to go over the waste ink pad you have already opened, so you need to disassemble the shell and this way needs to be done carefully. You will not be able to fix it by yourself.
You can follow and apply our method that doesn’t need to remove any thing, let’s see in the second step:
Step 2: How to separate the tube from the Epson C83 printer’s Waste Ink Pad.
You can see the Waste Ink Pad of the Epson printer and the tube, you had better use the tool to separate the tube afrom the waste ink pad. Please clean it carefully to avoid the broken-down.
Be gentle and careful to avoid folding or cracking waste ink pipes of Epson C83 printer.
Step 3: As you can see in the picture, use a cylinder to suck the waste ink of the Epson printer. After that clean the waste ink tube and absorb the waste ink out of the Waste Ink counter.
Next, you also need to suck the waste ink form the sponge if the Epson C83 printer is new one you can skip this step but not for the old printer because of being overflow the waste ink while the transferring procedure is running.
By this way, don’t worry about the waste ink overflowing when you don’t use the bottle to contain the waste ink. However, you have to check and suck the waste ink regularly so I think you should use a bottle to collect the waste ink.
Step 4: Install the bottle out of the printer
You need:
– A bottle made from plastic or glass.
– A relative tube is as equal as the tube of the printer.
– The tube connection tool.
Let’s put the tube into the tube of the Epson C83 printer then plug the other into the bottle we have mentioned, don’t forget to put the bottle is lower than the Epson C83 printer to sure that the waste ink can flow easily as the picture below.
You can print some documents right now to check that Epson C83 printer is working well or not as well as the waste ink can be absorbed or not
After a definite period of using you have to pour all the waste ink and clean the bottle up then continuprinting jobs.
Notes: This bottle is a long-term solution, if you want to use this convenient method I think you should reset the Waste Ink Counter by using WIC RESET TOOL (Download here). It’s extremely professional.
